Payment & Booking Terms – Kilimanjaro Mavens
Welcome to Kilimanjaro Mavens! To secure your adventure with us, please review our payment and booking policies carefully.
1. Booking Confirmation
- All bookings must be confirmed with a deposit or full payment, as specified for your chosen itinerary.
- Bookings are subject to availability. Confirmation will be sent via email once the payment is received.
- Personal details and passport information may be required for trekking permits and park entry.
2. Payment Schedule
- Deposit: 30% of the total package cost to secure your booking.
- Balance: Remaining 70% due at least 60 days prior to departure.
- For bookings made less than 60 days before departure, full payment is required immediately.
3. Payment Methods
- Bank transfer to our official account.
- Credit/Debit card payments via secure online portal.
- Other methods may be available upon request (PayPal, mobile money, etc.).
4. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing (email acceptable).
- Deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancellation fees vary depending on how many days before departure the cancellation occurs:
- More than 60 days: 20% of total cost
- 30–59 days: 50% of total cost
- Less than 30 days: 100% of total cost
5. Changes to Booking
- Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
- Requests for changes must be submitted in writing.
6. Refunds
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 14 business days after cancellation confirmation.
- Refunds are issued using the same method as the original payment.
7. Liability
Kilimanjaro Mavens is not responsible for personal injuries, loss of personal belongings, or unforeseen events during the trip. Travelers are advised to obtain appropriate insurance before departure.
