The 7-Day Tanzania Migration Safari is a carefully crafted journey designed to follow the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the world’s most spectacular wildlife events. This safari focuses on the prime migration corridors of the Serengeti, while also incorporating classic northern circuit highlights for a complete and immersive safari experience.
Depending on the season, you’ll track massive herds of wildebeest and zebra as they move across the plains in search of fresh grazing—whether witnessing dramatic river crossings in the north or the calving season in the south. With expert guides, flexible game drives, and comfortable lodges or tented camps, Kilimanjaro Mavens ensures you are in the right place at the right time.
Upon arrival in Tanzania, you will be met at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Enjoy a scenic drive through the surrounding countryside as you make your way to your hotel or lodge, where you can relax after your international journey.
Later in the day, you will meet your safari guide for a detailed safari briefing. This is an opportunity to review your itinerary, discuss wildlife expectations, and receive important travel and safety information. Spend the evening at leisure, enjoying dinner and an overnight stay in Arusha as you prepare for your safari adventure.
