Arrival Day

Distance: ±130 km | Driving Time: 2–3 hours

Depart Arusha after breakfast and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy a full game drive through the park’s diverse habitats, including groundwater forest, open savannah, and lakeshore. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, baboons, and abundant birdlife.

In the afternoon, exit the park and drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Return to Arusha

Distance: ±110 km | Driving Time: 2–3 hours

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s best parks for elephant viewing. Enjoy a game drive along the Tarangire River, a vital water source attracting lions, leopards, zebras, wildebeest, and large herds of elephants. The park’s iconic baobab trees add to its striking scenery.

In the afternoon, return to Arusha or transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
